Any city will be the same if you have the right people: (for 1000 sq ft in Pasadena) Usually vendors will charge more bc the market charges more in ie. pasadena as opposed to East LA bc they know people can afford more....

I currently live near Roanoke, Virginia and my Brother lives in North East Florida (Palm Coast area).  

A dwelling is considered a residence if it's used for personal purposes during the tax year for more than the greater of 14 days or 10 percent of the total days rented to others at a fair rental value.Our prime season is Memorial Day to middle of August. 

Any thoughts in investing or investors in East Orange NJ?

I would prefer analyzing in the north east of the US since that's where I plan (currently live in NY) on doing my house hack but whatever gets me started I'm willing to help as well.

You've got Fannie Mae over here, the true (ie, not backed by Wall Street) hard money lender over there, and scant in the middle. 

I mentioned this on a FB post inside BP's group...right now, we're in the middle of a massive passive investing bubble. 

On March 1 one of those Section 8 tenants told me she planned to move out the middle of March (needed a place with an elevator -- and I wasn't putting one in).
