Even though I knew that at some point I wanted to flip houses I didn't know when that would happen, recently the opportunity presented itself in the form of my father living abroad is selling his house and will be moving here to Columbus and renting (in the coming months), allowing the capital from his home sale to be invested in this project of ours.I don't want to make this to long so I'd like to say that my focus now is on finding a good deal, I am looking for fixer upper, in any of the nicer areas of Columbus or it's suburbs.

It was certainly presented much more professionally than any of the others thus far, which does lend some credit to the owner at least taking it seriously if nothing else.

My question is, since a valid CO was never presented to us at closing, do we a legal claim to get the previous owners to cover the cost of this process.
