I was prepared for all possibilities and it wasn't so much the condition of the unit that I found disagreeable, but rather the fact the HOA allowed the tenant to store such things as car tires in the unit (and this is a high rise condo-tel with a staffed front desk).

The only thing that I ever received was in Excel document containing expenses and deposits.Fast forward to November 2013, after we had served in the condo association a lawsuit for breach of fiduciary duties and subpoenaed the bank statements from Chase (because the association still failed to produce them after being served), we find out that the president of the association had been using the Association funds for personal use (including multiple $300+ cash withdraws, bar and restaurant charges, as well as clothing store purchases and a trip to the spa.

Higher end furniture stores here have designers, they will fill the place up and put out some cards to advertise, but they won't have price tags on stuff (LOL, some don't have prices on them in the store, if you have to ask you can't afford it).
