Business Cards

I’m brand new and I’ve been attending some local REIA meetings to network and gather information on getting started. I’ve been asked for a business card several times, but I haven’t made any yet because I haven’t established a business name or entity yet. Do I set up a business name or just make cards with my contact info on them for now, and if I do go with a business name, do I have to register it with the state of Washington? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

@Tim Haag - We discussed this on BP recently. A lot of newbies get hung up with business names, websites, and other stuff that is not necessary to success in this business. Business cards aren't really necessary either, but they're quick and easy. Go to Vistaprint and make yourself a card from their generic designs that says "First Vancouver Investments". On the next line, "I Buy Houses". Then your name and phone number. Free cards, you only have to pay shipping. Now, spend no more than 15 minutes on this and then go make some offers.
