I'm worried that the payments would be too much and was looking at more of a 22-25 year loan so he could pay off the principal faster but I'm not educated enough on this to know what the best way to go about it would be.I'm just curious what the best way to finance the loan and for how many years would be best.

Here are some of the reasons:- If a qualified renter has a specific timeframe they can view the apartment someone who is local can meet them to show them the apartment faster than you can coming from out of state.

Of course, all this happened after the hoarder contents were removed, rats and bugs eradicated, and mold remediation done.At the rate I'm going it's going to take me a year to complete this property and everyone keeps telling me the key to this is moving faster. 

If your only option is a VA loan, then patience is key and you will definitely be better off in the winter (off-season) for north jersey HOWEVER you have to weight those savings against rates rising (which are incredibly low at the moment). 

The more you have these prepped, the faster you can close. 

Used to go out several times per week, but when I decided to start losing weight and only allowing one “cheat meal” per week, this helped a lot.  

They are going up faster than most locations in the country.

Which do you think would help it get leased faster.

I know you mentioned the condition, but the location carries a heavier weight.
