I have a couple wild guesses for you -1. hot lines freeze before cold, possibly the warm discharge line is freezing but flowing water tends to take longer to freeze up so I am going to say this is a wild shot2. if the dishwasher is not running on the nights that it is freezing up (but is just sitting idle), it is possible that the PUMP is freezing, not the drain line.

Let's say the roofer "paid" to advertise his services with a sign in the yard, and that amount exactly offset the deductible...I guess the deductible amount is still recognized as an expense, but the advertising service is taken as income; so there is a net zero effect for taxes?
