My dad's shop/house was burned down years ago, along with many other shopowners due to a kid playing with fire.

Her husband was pissed that some random guy was trying to come inside the house while his wife and kids were home alone, and I was PISSED that this guy couldn't follow simple directions, be patient and wait ONE DAY for a showing.  

I am a suburban kid and like green space.

They have 4 kids who I know by name and he has been a volunteer fireman with my department for about 8 years. 

I realize that I will be mailing to the elderly person, not the grown children, who may end up  being the people help make these decisions.I'm just thinking that these older people, will likely soon be moving in with kids, or elderly care homes, or even passing away...Thoughts? 

All of the multis that I looked at are in areas where I would not feel safe after dark (I'm a 30 year old guy, no kids, so not a safety-freak by any means).

Most of us don't have the excuse of two young kids to hide behind and yet you went out and proved there is never an excuse.

Here is my thoughts; I'm thinking of renting my home to my kids and trying to by a triplex or duplex as owner occupied.

I got one when I was a student and we are now happily married with 2 kids.   

I work a full time w2 and just had a kid so I hear you about not having time .  3 of the properties that I just purchased are against what most people talk as about on here (condos) and one is a single family.
