Most of the local title companies have the policy go through one of the big three anyways that they associated with.First American, Old Republic, etc.  

While practicing, put a mirror in-front of you and watch your facial expression.

Americans buy what is American because many of the foreign investors have the same vision as I do.

They're just looking for a safe place to park their money to keep it away from their South American gov't.s.  3-4% returns, and hopefully some appreciation is fine with them.  

But then i again i do understand that not being physically in the area and not having any knowledge regarding it can make it very tough.But all in all, i know it is not impossible to do as i am sure many other Canadians or even Americans must have or are doing similar things.

We have tens of millions of Americans now outside the banking industry, operating on cash, bartering in some way, etc.
