He is not on you side at all.There is a time and place to offer more than the asking price for something but this is not the time .Yes you are right there is no good reason to withhold unless they are trying to collect more bids and ect.Let your feeling be your guide.

I was confident enough to offer $10k non refundable upfront as a show of good faith but my partner said that I can go to the casino if I want to gamble :-) Since it is my first property of this size, I listened :-) Also I'm not sure if $10k upfront would have been meaningful.Let's see what happens...Jean

Hi Alexandar, We are finding that with most HML we have contacted the option of factoring the rehab costs into the loan is not there, looking for a lender to offer rehab costs.
