@Daylen Fiallo I think this depends on your strategy.If your strategy is to buy and hold - I would HIGHLY recommend going with a RCV (Replacement Cost Value) policy which is offered by many carriers.

Depending on the market, I don't plan to keep them longer than 6 years because it will probably be getting time to replace things, and especially if it is not renting for 1%.

We budgeted for worst case scenario - as is wise to do with a foreclosure that has been unloved and unoccupied - and planned on replacing ALL of the plumbing. 2.5 years later, we've replaced just about all of it.
