It would give the tenant the feeling of freedom to change the environment to their liking if they chose and were able (keeping them content to rent from you, over owning their own home in order to have the same feeling).2).

I agree with @Dawn Brenengen , who stated that there're requirements for both sides: the tenant has to pay rent and the landlord has to provide a safe living environment.

The thing to keep in mind with the due on sale clause, that almost no one ever talks about, is they are hardly ever called due because we have been in a perpetual falling interest rate environment.
