Would like opinions if I am doing the right thing for retirement by reading my profile.  

He is retired and has zero interest in keeping the property.

I started in Real Estate over 2 years ago after my wife and I decided we needed a better retirement plan.

Isn't the point of having apartment rentals to generate cash flow month in and month out so you can retire and live ofd the income?

The owner (retired broker) owns it free and clear and will sell for $75K. 

I know the upstate of South Carolina well due to being  a service technician for many years and intend to use my knowledge of the area to transform my future.After being married for 26 years and having the house to ourselves; my wife and I are going to begin working on our retirement future.

I actually feel like this part is something I could really excel at.The guy is a landlord who is getting close to retirement and kind of kicking the tires.  

Even though I enjoy the challenges of my work, and the stability and support it provides my family, I'm realizing that I need to start thinking more long term about my goals, retirement and legacy.
