Maybe you can make money on the "option premium," but you also get "stuck" as a landlord, and you still don't have a cash flowing property which I have no idea has an appreciation potential.So, ask yourself:  "How are you making money?"

The impressive Chef's kitchen has premium ss appliances, shaker cabinets, large island with luxurious waterfall counters.

Example - Neighborhood duplex recently sells for $125k, and you determine the 2nd unit adds a $25k premium to the property.

While it sounds nice to have insurance cover the loss, I worry about the premium shooting up for investments in the future.

Will companies using knock have to switch over to RealPage to maintain access or are these companies allowed to keep using Knock as a premium price and getting incentivized to switch to RealPage via discounts?

Insurance companies are crushing Floridians right now even before the storm, it will force many people to either pay outrageous premiums, try and fix themselves or have to sell.

What I've been referring to is actually an "enhanced" owners policy (see First American's Eagle product) which is significantly more comprehensive than extended and only available to residential homeowners (at least where we do business).Extended coverage is simply an alta owners policy with the 5 standard exceptions removed (after meeting the criteria -- affidavits, survey, additional premium, etc. -- for removal).Sounds like you figured a out a plan that works for you.
