Small family home and the market will be Illinois.

Everything in the home will get double usage, especially the appliances.....Also make sure your liability insurance knows that they are now responsible for insuring 6 people.This just sounds like a bad idea to me....

Tips/advice/lessons learnt?

My wife has family that lives up here and we visit yearly and I continue noticing a lot of multi family homes in the area.

A lot of Colorado cities like Denver and Colorado Springs require you to owner-occupy the home in order to run an STR or Airbnb on it.

DanIf you ALREADY have TITLE to the home Sub 2 their existing loan and If the payments continue to be sent in to the lender, taxes are paid, and insurance is maintained the lender will in all likelihood continue to accept those payments.

I used my VA home loan at a 6.375%  ranch style 3 bedroom 2 bath 1316sqftPurchase Price: $268,552monthly payment is $1930  I do not pay property taxes. 

When using the property search tool and other criteria for property type, how is it possible to search for 2,3 or 4 unit homes only and not include all single family homes?
