To relate a personal story, I went to a workshop (not in real estate) and the person giving the workshop would personally interview the attendees who expressed interest in joining his network.

This means we turn a profit at the end of the year, but recycle those funds back into the organization to offer better services, speakers, venues, workshops, etc for our member base.

I recently took a full day workshop on that very topic and was amazed by how much is possible from landscaping to tenant management.

I will be attending the 3 day FB workshop as well in a couple weeks.

In my opinion you have to stop thinking about how to make money and focus on saving money if you have no cash.From my expierence, you can read all the real estate seminars and workshops you want but if you don't have a plan and some liquid reserves you are not going to last in the real estate world.

I remember a great motivational speaker that I saw who used “Massive Action” in all his workshops.
