The other option, though perhaps not as visually appealing, would be to run PVC condensate line through the exterior wall and down to the ground to drip onto soil/sidewalk/whatever happens to be there.

Some older buildings the trees were planted to close to the buildings for the height size and can cause roots in utility lines, sidewalks popping up, animals access to the roof, cracking the foundation, etc.
