Meaning -- if you want to find out who hangs drywall the best, you call painter.  

Find a plumber for the water lines, find an electrician for the can lights, buy the granite from the store and they will install it, find a painter and floor guy.  

Then just leaves you finding a painter.

I know a few great contractors & painters if anyone is interested for future needs.

With access to more than 100 properties and in an entrepreneurship training program I was directed to do research and every time I was guided to BiggerPockets and was impressed with all the information and how free and engaging everyone was so I decided to join and am looking at the Pro status  I love what I do and have loved it since training with the union as one of the first women to be accepted into the Chicago Chapter of the Painters and Decorators Union.  

I have family in Tampa who own a couple properties and a buddy of mine is a painter who says he knows a couple good contractors so I have a small network already in place. 

-Pay close attention to detail on your finishes, my painter left some areas on the trim too thin so that the old wood bled through a little- big detractor from finished look of the house. 

If switched industries, ex from a painter to IT in the past 2 yrs, the income earned as a painter will not be calculated towards your income ratios.

Our other contractors (plumber, HVAC, painter, floor refinisher, etc.) continue to provide good service, and are what make running 22 apartments while working a full time engineering job at a major company possible.

I need help trying to find a painter that is lead based paint certified in Connecticut.
