Pavers, if done right, will have enough crushed rock under them and sand between them to prevent weeds from coming though.With pavers you need to be a little more gentle when cleaning them using a power washer, but they are pretty durable.

You get new now but when you go to seel everything is "gently used" and most likely there are not things you can do to the property to add sweat equity.

I love the idea of gently asking the inspectors to provide referrals, as long as it isn't a conflict of interest.

They may, of course, subject you to collection action but that can be quelled in its tracks by gently reminding them that the FCBA allows for an award of damages plus twice the amount of any finance charges - or higher amounts (unlimited liability) if a pattern or practice of violations is established.
