Now, I'm living in Asia with only my passive rental income while starting up my business consultancy firm as a travelling nomad.Having rehabbed (part contractor, part DIY), done house-hacking, and rented out the investment properties in Netherlands, I really had to take a break because the rehab project totally wore me and my partner out.

@Asia Ellis 1st - I would recommend saving up at least 6 months worth of income before quitting your job (your job could actually help you invest and provide you with a W2 income that would allow you to obtain a loan). 2nd - Get your real estate license.
