I think the only way a city can turn this around is like Portland did when they took their Pearl district that was full of run down commercial.. and creating TAx incentive investing zones..

I currently live in Pearl City, Hawaii, and I'm sure like many people here, after reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I knew there were some changes that needed to be made. 

Work and school are both off of 1604 but I like living closer to area like South town and the Pearl. 

Wondering if any of you are doing renovations this winter/spring and could help out a newbie with some tips and pearls?

Other good large title companies are Fidelity (owned by Chicago), and Stewart.Local that I've had great experiences with: Alliance Title, Continental (great for small cash deals), and Clear Title of Kansas (for not so clear titles).

  :)  But I know for some buildings and neighborhoods it has caused an eyes sore and concerns of potential noise for would-be buyers.Your best bet for anything West of Pearl City will be legal multi-units, which will most likely be found in Pearl City/Waimalu, Waipahu, and Ewa Beach.
