You can go online and set up any corporation yourself for a couple hundred bucks if you feel like you're savvy enough to navigate the process and understand the process. 

I can spot a "little old lady" house pretty easily by the pics online.  

Usually when you call an office and ask for someone, then will give your info to the next on line - which is not always the best person to work with. 

I use google maps and many other tools provided online to view and learn about the property. 

However, if you filled out an online request for a quote or pre-approval with your bank, they would make a soft inquiry that results in no harm to your credit.Adam

They still have phone books start there.I have come across a couple auto dialers online just do a Google search and your research.  

The ones you get online from Zillow, etc. aren't accurate.

Essentially what happened was one of the largest independent publishing companies in the world found my music online and had me on TV within a day! 

When I called they informed me that the house hasn't been scheduled to be auctioned yet and said that I should keep checking their website every few weeks to bid on it in their online auction.

Some investors buy the property on the courthouse steps by bidding on it directly from the trustee (the trustee is usually the lawyer for the lienholder, who is actually doing the foreclosure on behalf of the lienholder), but in many cases its sold back to the original lender/lienholder, and they in turn list it on the MLS or on an online auction website (like Auction.com).
