This applies in general to most businesses vs real estate investments.Can someone with right skill set, abilities, knowledge and luck built a very profitable STR arbitrage business?  

They picked up where the previous PM left off (that PM was the opposite and was definitely why I qualify a GOOD PM instead of some random guy who thinks he has REI skills), and just started kicking butt and taking names.

I know my skills and this is not one of them.

You become really good at finding deals (which is, the most important skill for a real estate investor, right up there with raising capital)2.

Just like you can't create a character in an RPG or video game that is 10/10 for all skills, you can't make a mortgage bank that is 10/10 across the board.

I had very few construction skills, and did about half of the labor on my first rehab by myself.

You cannot become a successful real estate investor without mastering this skill!

Hi Jordan, even with limited knowledge of real estate I'm sure you'll be able to find ways to leverage your skills and knowledge as a construction project manager.

That's takes a lot of skill in managing interpersonal relationships - especially when emotions run high. 

You can use a private money lender more than once, or as many times as they'll let you (based off of your negotiation skills), and it's recommended that you figure out the amount you may need prior to taking on the project.
