We have a program in house where you can get people driving around for you sending you pictures of these houses.

I have been married and divorced (just recently) and iv just been going through the motions.

If you want to pay (usually the first month rent) you can also list it with a realtor, or you can hire a property manager to find a tenant.Like @Nicole W. said, take lots of pictures to attract a larger number of people to call.

He drew me a picture with little houses on each one it had how much we would buy them for, how much we would put into them, how much we could sell them for and he would circle in red what our profit would be and how it can add up.

Even if including appreciation and depreciation (which seems low for a $300k property) to ascertain an overall investment picture, this seems somewhat bleak if there is not any value added or rent increase potential.

The pictures and details I was given did not make clear if the unit has a kitchenette with an oven/stove. 

I haven't seen them yet but pictures looked better than I expected and don't indicate a lot of needed repairs.
