Disclosure: Dan and I both are brokers and work with the same brokerage, which does focus on investment... just saying :) You absolutely want to keep educating yourself on REI, so you'll know if someone is trying to snow you.

In fact, we are only in the education stages at the moment. 

Thank you for your input as a rookie getting into this you say not having to deal with headaches but in reality a vacant apartment is still a headache and a pm who is dishonest and constantly hitting u with inflated repair cost is a headache so even with a pm thier are still headaches.. but I thank you for your input I very much appreciate the education u guys and girls are giving me.

In the State of Missouri, the education requirements as prerequisites for taking the real estate exam are waived for attorneys, and the prerequisite for practicing as a real estate agent for a certain about of time is also waived to take the Broker's exam.

As of now, (I believe my strategy will change once I learn/network/educate myself more) I'd like to buy 1 property per year for the next 10 years.

Not saying to ask your GC to hold your hand and educate you, but learn as much as you can observing the order of things, management tips, and note who is there doing quality work, etc.  

This is my last year of school and am starting to educate and immerse myself in the real estate industry.
