These high paying employers are now requiring that their staff return to the office 3 - 4 days a week which force their staff to live closer or rent out a room during the week to as opposed to WFH during COVID. 

@Jeff Exline Military communities can be great markets to buy property, but I highly recommend picking a market that isn't dependent on that military base for employment.

A product more geared for retirees than employers with high income.

U will have the following answers  4k a month to 100k a month.. with the overwhelming majority settling on 10k a month that seems to be the magic number for many many investors If I can just get to 10k a month.Myself back in the late 70s I thought if I could just make 5k a month I would have more money than I knew what to do with.But then reality hits  kids  self employment tax  having to buy your own health insurance..  

The largest employer is the state government and the second largest employer is the Federal government and we have the fastest growing county in the state. 

You can even get a letter from your new employer verifying that your employment will continue.
