I'm not sure about Missouri since I'm in Delaware but recommend you get a copy of the landlord tenant code for where you are and abide by that as far as notices and how they should be sent (here we must send by certificate of mailing) If you have to use an attorney for your state I would loop them in early so you're sure to do the beginning correctly.Good luck!
