But, then she  complained of some sewer smell in the basement (which is unused and she is on the second floor), and while I was still investigating/fixing it, she called the City Plumbing line and filed a complaint. 

Upon further investigations I have discovered that Unit A is taking on the entire water heater bill, due to there only being one water heater for both apartments. 

If not, I know you may be trying to help and keep them out of it, but only the owners can act and this would include hiring an attorney, seeking involvement for an investigation, etc.

Following here to....Great question @Tim Melia We have numerous multifamily properties in Snohomish County and are investigating grabbing some sfh in Seattle.

Just wondering with our experience if this is still a good move or if there are other resources to investigate?
