Lake Charles is expecting a real estate boom due to a 16BN dollar liquefied natural gas facility being built south of the city creating thousands of new jobs.So, I guess it comes down to the market specifics of where you're leaving and where you're going?

In fact, it's BOOMING.  

And they leave stuff behind, so have a plan for that- let them know ahead of time what can be picked up by the trash collectors, or other options to get rid of stuff.  

Charleston is a booming area if you hit the right deals on I am deal 7 for the year and its pretty cool.. nice to be able to sell homes to owner occ's instead of investors.. that area is really turning fast..

Even with the "boom" of the past few years, there has not been much new development; at least in the smaller towns where I invest East of OKC.

@GeoffActually i have a relative who is a law student with access to skip trace software. i gave her the homeowner's name and boom, she gave me a current phone number in about 20 seconds.I actually think broke law students are a good source for this, because one guy that i found online wanted to charge me $100 per name...yeah right.

It's just like bill collectors buying accounts in bulk.
