Doesn't mean they work very well or are productive in the end.Think of it this way.You are a broker/agent for example and carry lot's of inventory or are a buyers agent with access to off market properties though your connections.One buyer calls up and says " I want to buy this property but will you rebate part of your listing commission to me " or the buyer ask the same of a buyers broker.The person trying to squeeze me goes to the absolute bottom of the list to work with or present deals too.

It was very motivating and informative.Additionally, with the changes in the market that we've seen over this past year (i.e. hedge funds buying more aggressively, increasing home prices, lower inventory, etc), there was also some discussion on if/how investors plan on altering their investment strategy in the coming year.I think we could all benefit and get inspired from hearing what other BP'ers are doing.

If it is a condo building, you also want to collect information for all the units in the building, especially the price histories of them so that not only you get some feeling of the trend, but also you may estimate the "shadow inventory" relevant to the unit you are interested.

People have found ways to exploit them and frequently do things that aren't technically allowed, especially now that there is so much less available inventory out there.

We had contracts on one within 14 days the other 22days.I agree with the others not as many buyers but also not as much inventory typically for the buyer, so if you have an exceptional property they sell any time of the year.
