Listing a Rehab during the holidays

Hey guys I just wanted to get your opinions and experiences pertaining to listing your rehabs during the holiday season. I just listed our latest rehabbed property about 11 days ago, and I've had several showings and 1 offer a few days ago which was too low to accept and they weren't willing to come up at all.

I don't think it's time to lower the price as I know it's priced well in addition to it only being the 11th day. I guess I will have to just suck it up and wait for January to come.

What are your holiday listing experiences? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Several things going against you right now. We just got through elections which slowed things down, the fed recently announced that mortgage rates will remain low for the next 3 years (this announcement hurts us because it does not create any sense of urgency to buyers. Had they announced that they foresee possible rate increases, we would likely get some buyer fence sitters off the fence), holidays are always tougher (although the ones looking are usually very serious as J pointed out).

If I had a choice, I would avoid listing at this time, however, there is no sense in waiting if it is ready for market. I have sold during the holidays, so it is not dead, but for sure, a smaller buyer pool.
