As a local investor and Realtor I have been witness to too many OOS investors being connected with these "perfect" real estate boots on the ground people, only to have the project be flipped upside down.

Right now, we only have a chain link fence around the facility wit barbed wire at the top.

. ;-) Anyway...she was so enthusiastic that it was so beautifully furnished, everything was well designed, there were great features and a large entertainment system (with its own small cinema!)

It has this beautiful walk in shower, a toilet and a sink.

But because of the current market condition (causing that home to now be worth more by far than it ever has, and interest rates being at all-time lows) - my wife and I decided to sell that home now to capture that equity as cash before the market changes and it goes away.We had already bought another distressed lakefront house that we fixed-up beautifully - so that is now our new primary residence.
