Landlords came in today to remind them about lease being expired this past June, instead were attacked by millions of wasps, coming from wasps' nest, which tenants created by having stacks of hey against the house from last Halloween, and didn't even bother to open the door to the owners today to find out if he is ok after wasps attack!

Things we note are what's expected in cleaning, that the property may be shown to prospective tenants, checkout time, key return process, reminder to forward mail, notify utility companies, etc. 

She reminded me that we must show kindness during this period of time after my Son was talking about some of my units and how I was handling it.

On the other hand, I do like to remind folks that almost everything can be fixed!

You can send them a reminder that the unit needs to be restored back to its original condition.  

I have automated messaging and guest reminders and booking details, etc, etc. 

I am looking to set a reminder/checklist of tasks that my property management team needs to do every year to ensure the property stays up to date.

Email/letter reminders of lease terms citing violations for criminal /disturbing the peace, and a good old fashioned punishment from mom seemed to do the trick.

And before declare Gov. coming in to save the average John & Jane Doe, remind me how many went to prison for the '08' finance Ponzi scheme collapse?
