Hi all, I am just looking for advice from Canadians that know the rules and regulations.

The reality is that the majority of landlords are mom and pop hobby landlords and do not ever bother to learn the regulations governing landlords and tenants until they run into a problem.

I've looked up HPA regulations and while it stipulates that unearned premium on prepaid PMI is refundable, I cannot form a clear answer from my research.

Now I'm trying to sell it but I find out there's all these regulations and it's gonna cost me $2,000 to hire a lawyer to be sure the title is clear.  

Also, I would not recommend a check book Ira to someone just staring out and learning the ropes of SDIRA investing, there are too many regulations for you to follow on your own.

They only deal with buildings over five units that may be subject to rent regulation.  

Title company escrows are pricing regulated and we are the lowest price around.

Hi @Himanshu Jain, I agree with @Nicolas Paez that there is a wide spectrum of senior living options from +55 apartments to memory care neighborhoods with increasing regulations as resident acuity increases.  

And no law or regulation will ever change that.

Your state landlord tenant regulations are fairly clear and something every owner needs to study and learn before purchasing their first property.
