Unearned premium on prepaid PMI
I'll skip to the "tl;dr"....
We prepaid PMI on our primary residence.
We are considering refinancing.
I've looked up HPA regulations and while it stipulates that unearned premium on prepaid PMI is refundable, I cannot form a clear answer from my research.
Any lenders have experience in this realm? Any direction on what specifically I should be looking for? Conventional loan, 5% down, prepaid PMI was just over 2% of the loan amount.
Thanks!
