You have to meet (2) of the requirements 100 miles and must be for a work relocation, Closer to School, Growing in Family numbers like new child, or divorce.A Second home/Vacation does not have to be exactly 50 miles but is a guide line mention.

Additionally this will cost me because I will need to get my drivers license as well as those of my family changed, and not to mentioned the moving and relocating the utilities.The main question I have is cant you really just up and break the lease like that for repairs.

You can’t use the rental income as projected income to help your purchasing power requirements.I was referring to if you plan to move out and purchase a new home in the future using another owner occupied home loan down the road, from my experience, the lender  required a lease agreement to the current unit in place and also a reason as to why you’re moving into a new area ie job relocation, closer proximity to family etc., in order for them to approve for another owner occupied loan.

I know in some areas you are allowed to evict a tenant to live in one of the units yourself, but then have to pay around $20,000 to help them relocate (in LA).

Hey @Alexander Canha, owner move in eviction is allowed in most cities, but you usually have to pay a relocation fee to the tenants that you're displacing.

Regarding aviation, traffic is at around -50%, Boeing is having new problems now related to the 787, and there is the never ending fight about subsidies and state aid alledgedly received by either Boeing or Airbus.Petrol demand han rebounded even less than forecasted due to an increase of new COVID cases.People who used to commute are teleworking and not using their cars, and relocating to less expensive areas, where they can afford larger properties that are also cheaper.The tech industry will do well, only if it is not regulated before, submitted to antitrust measures or to more adverse taxation.
