For example I bought an existing business and my entity was ABC 1st Street LLC, but my DBA would be Bob's Furniture Store.

I really enjoy reading so here are some of my favorite real estate books, Million Dollar RE agent by Gary Keller, Million dollar investor by Gary Keller, and The Abcs of Commercial Real Estate Investing by Ken McElroy. 

Example; requiring resurface an asphalt driveway vs. seal and top coat.Some cities have been taken to court under the claim that point of sale inspection is essentially illegal and unwarranted search by government officials... arguing that every nook and cranny of the home is searched by government officials without reasonable cause. 

I recommend that you read the book The Abcs of Commercial Real Estate investing by Ken McElroy.

I won't argue whether its a strong protection or not, but this isn't a hobby for us so we use it.To your question of how does any of this put more $ in our pocket.  

Whether that's Airbnb or the host's fault can be argued, but I was more upset with Airbnb than I was the host.

@Lynn McGeein I figured 0% down seller financing would be something a realtor would argue against for their client.
