I want to start off by thanking the creators and users of this site for providing a place where people can learn and share their real life experiences with each other.Question for you guys.

I've been a member since 2009ish but I haven't visited in so long that when I got a new PC I lost my user ID and password.

@Rick Baggenstoss that is a great bullet point list of commandments, and worth reiterating: - do not over leverage - have reasonable cash flows - moderated risk with portfolio strategy and/or high quality properties - diversify income streams into related businesses and strategies - effectively predict or react as the market changes In my first venture at REI, I violated each of them, at one time or another.

They may be sold to end user instead of investor for more in future.

Hey @Joe Scott - Without users like you jumping in and getting involved, we wouldn't have the community we do.

These are just some of the preventive measures any user can take on their own without spending the big bucks for a fix.

@Bill Briscoe - We've fixed the problem, and formatting should be working now for IE8 users and below.That said, as an IE8 user, you don't get the full features of our WYSIWYG, so I definitely recommend upgrading your browser to IE9 or above, or using a new version of Safari, Firefox, or Chrome.
