Often, a portfolio loan when used as a Purchase Transaction is referred to as a "blanket loan".(2) When using a portfolio loan as a REFINANCE, you should expect to get up to 75% of the Appraised Value of the property...assuming the DCR can be supported by the cash flow of the property.Hope this helps!
