I was looking to create a test that I can give to people applying to be a new maintenance tech for my company.

Just like the 2008 crash was not caused by over-inflated tech stocks like the 2000 recession was.  

I go to Tech so it's great for getting to class.

Those jobs tend to have pay tied to inflation targets and while there is a ton of promising tech growth, development builds have been focused on eating up the new comers.

You wont find the online companies in their mix of who they work with?

I own a townhouse in a new (3-4 years old) 12-unit development, mixed residential/retail.

Just for the record I own 8 units, a mix of duplexes and SFR's. 

Thanks @Adam Juodis  I have read through a lot of those posts, and the consensus seems to be that there is a lot of mixed opinions on whether or not it's ethical and/or what trouble you'll get into if you do it behind the lenders back.
