I'm new to real estate investing as well, but being in Southern California, I'm looking to invest out-of-state.  

I own a few apartment complexes in the southern part of Atlanta, Ga and I am currently under contract to buy another.

Loved it up there, but my family now moved down to the Pasadena area in Southern California. 

My wife and I will be moving to southern Ca next summer.
