I'm continuing this from another post I commented on.....I think it's an important enough topic to revisit, we get so many posts from people that had problems with their Contractor and project because expectations were not met (on both sides), and it creates problems with both the schedule and the budget.

I wrote a blog post about this recently... it's not at all bad to be renting in today's market if you can invest that money at a higher return.If you can stay local to where you are now, that's even better!

My suggestion would be to select someone with the most forum posts or most reviews. 

Our tenant on FB posted nothing but positive, feel good family photos, uplifting quotes, and stuff like that.

-Recent renovations - the more modern the interior is and more functional increase its value-Floor plans - you could have two identical office buildings but one with a better floor plan will sell for higher per sqft.

I posted on 2 local community groups that I will be selling my house in the next month or so .

@Theo Seng As Preston posted above, in general a FHA / conventional loan for 3-5% down and a fixed 30 year rate will be one of the best values for a buyer.I've purchased a number of deals using seller financing.
