I was brand new to real estate, and I originally just wanted something in a cool neighborhood that I could afford.

Lots of cool things happening out there and you can still get a good return.

Including this cash and my savings, I can gather around 200K for investing.My question is should I invest in this market or should I wait for RE market to cool off a bit.Thanks in advance!

Troll the BP forums constantly and always lookup new terms you've never heard about in the forums too, try to join meetups and connect and pm your local investors and realtors they can be super cool people.

If you go to a big bank they may not be cool with you having 10 mortgages, period.

So getting to all the cool events, concerts, and sports in the metroplex from there is ideal.

I am maybe waiting for local prices to cool off.As for your Washington house, its a function of what capital you could get out of it and how much rent you are getting.. what are the numbers there?
