Here in Texas, I’ve gone through hundreds of deals this year and maybe half a dozen deals were worth the investment. 

This includes understanding your budget, securing financing if needed, and determining what you can comfortably afford.Research is key.

I would consider the jurisdiction you are in and the nearby existing development to gauge how this process may be. 

NAR just went through a huge lawsuit over this.

I plan to hold this property towards retirement as it's in the area I grew up (obviously anything can change).I am receiving conflicting statements from contractors/friends/family on which roofing option to go with.
