One of the ways you can be a broker in Michigan is through getting your real estate agent license and working for a company for 3 years in a 40 hour a month job before going through the rest of the education.

Now it sounds like we can sell, buy a new place for minimum down payment and reinvest the rest into either the market or other real estate.

It really comes down to the individual property/numbers IMO.On your possible plan with the in-law in a single family, renting out the rest of the house, just be aware that even if it’s a legal in-law, technically it’s only supposed to be for family members.

So if it’s in a different place than the rest of the shows it makes it tough.
