Where can I find median rent (I can't find this on Zillow), Rental vacancy rate, population growth, job growth, and rent to income ratio? 

I've lived in this area for 20+years and the growth has been utterly astounding in the last ten.

Again, if I was buying an apartment complex with agency financing, I would buy in a growth market.

We have a piece a property in a high growth area.

The main things about renting to a group of inexperienced tenants is that they may not take timely rent payment seriously, they may not know the housekeeping tasks necessary to keep the rental clean, they may not know when to call about minor maintenance issues that can grow into bigger problems.

Hiring someone in a real estate business could include a thousand different tasks and what they are doing makes a difference in how the question is answered. 

The area surrounding the Mall and restaurants etc. has seen growth.

I'm sure eventually I will outsource this task, when my investing career in much further along. 

San Francisco; there is really no metric I know of other than projected job growth.With the COVID situation, and the possibility that local politicians may want the economy curbed into the gutter for political reasons, I doubt projected job growth would be reliable at this point in the game.Plus Manhattan tends to march to it's own economy.
