Last year my husband and I traveled for 8 months straight and stayed in tons of Airbnbs.

I don’t think he typically goes to the Jersey City area but he does travel for larger projects.He has done work for me in the past and it came out great.

@Cole Oraham TAMU has announced a hybrid model but I worry about all the international students that will have travel restrictions, or parents that won't allow students to return, or even worse sick professors (generally older and at much higher risk).

Eventually, I'd like to have enough buy and hold rentals to leave the rat race and travel the world with my family, painting on location along the way.

A few options;- Take the leap and buy something you don't love, just to get into the market- Continue renting in current city, and purchase in cheaper community (would mean about 3-4 hours travel to get there)The biggest concern is maxxing out on the over-priced city, would then limit any future property purchases.Anywho, any advice or help for this newb would be great!

Our daughter (and is paying rent that covers the mortgage) moved in with us January 2020 and we began traveling a lot. 

We work with Gallagher out of Santa Fe on two of our larger buildings in Albuquerque they have Mountain State and Travelers.

Of course sports, hospitality, retail, travel and entertainment are yet in the dog house.

For much of it I travel back n forth between my new home, Phoenix, and oversee projects for weeks at a time.

I think this is primarily for second homes for people who can no longer travel and looking for vacation homes for their families.
