We looked at many SFHs listed way below neighborhood averages, but quickly found that here in MD, they apparently build homes on underground springs, and most of the ones that looked like great deals actually have drainage pumps in the yards and moisture damage/mold from flooding and no real way to fix the problem, you'd just be buying an eternal headache.

The house looked spectacular and the tenant sat in the yard with his dog - keeping goofy at bay.I didn't mention before that they are breaking the lease to buy their own home so they're pretty motivated.Getting so much volume from Craigslist I pulled the ad pending processing applications I just received.YMMV, we have little unemployment here and the rental market is rocking.Life is good so far.

The topic is I am thinking of offering a retail contracting service in a commercial building I plan on building next to a local lumber yard and I was wanting feedback on that hence "what would a service that found good contractors rated by customers be worth" Sorry you misread Will, I'm not the best typist but I thought it was VERY clear I was not self promoting, again no need for that out here, "no interest" :)
