When they tell me the current PM it almost always is a PM who discounts fees so low there is no way that PM can afford to provide quality service.

This also gives you not only a realtor's eye who will be thinking about resale values and quality of work from a renter/buyers perspective, but also someone totally independent of the work being done (contractors) and management.

Or those who can WFH at least most of the week can enjoy a quieter pace and better quality of life here, IMHO.

Or maybe put a different way, the spread of doing really quality work doesn't pay off nearly as much, as compared to a larger metro such as Des Moines. 

We are searching for good markets with a really quality provider. 

Does the quality of the client change the fee you would pay?

Housing quality will undoubtedly deteriorate if this behavior by self-serving politicians is allowed to manipulate the minds of people who don't know any better.
