Houses are generally well maintained.Close to the center, houses look a lot more run down.

Not nearly enough people willing to pay a bit extra fora  gated community, pool, activity center ect.

I actually have both apartments and retail strip center at this time. 

I put 1" isofoam (for insulation) and anchor it to wood (8"-16" on centers), Then the roofing adhesive (there is a lot of brands and cant remember what Ive used off the top of my head), but its expensive like $150-$200/5gal. 

You have no money invested that way and just upside with your knowledge and networking.Have you thought about trying to find and market to operations that need basically just phone lines and a roof over their head such as call centers or a brokerage house for equities?

The physical and sexual abuses were beyond belief, and no one seemed to care because I was the mentally retarded, spazzy loser with no way to communicate, and most likely no one who would have cared if I could.I was told that my son would never walk or talk-and that is BEFORE he got sick- and he now, at 20 years old, owns his own home free and clear, teaches extremely basic code to Autistic children[ actually learning with them, not the sterotypical IT Autistic],is working on the third book in a fantasy adventure trilogy he is writing, has cleared most of the trails in the location that will one day be THE Autistic retreat center of the world, and he has already been approached about management there.  

Lenders do not like making loans on them either for a strip center.
