I know this is not uncommon, I hear it all the time although I cannot relate to that personally as luckily I had absolutely stellar experiences using several different agents for my deals prior to becoming a licensed agent myself.

I'm trying to keep an open mind, however I had a very fine/good experience with the one FSBO transaction I had, too.I'm a fan of FSBO and would encourage more to do it, honestly.Jim here are a few things that go on through a decade or so with brokers.HOT MARKET:1. the bill board advertising of 1% fee's of course thats only the list side you have to pay for the sell side and if that broker sells it he/she will want and deserve both sides.. although in most markets its very UNCOMMON for a listing agent to sell their own listing.

This is not uncommon and I think anyone expecting to refi after adding an ADU should be very confident that they have comps that support their expected valuation.
